The position has been established to encourage women members to participate at a branch level, to disseminate information to women members and to feed back information relating to women's issues to the Women's Officer.
If you are interested in being a Women's Contact Officer please speak to the union delegate at the school to ensure the position is vacant and then you can have this endorsed at the branch level.

Public education should be free and open to all to ensure non-selective and non-discriminatory access to education. Every child has a right to be educated, to develop as a human being. This capability should not be denied to anyone, either by design or neglect.
